Website of the Week: TurbulenceForecast

I recently flew from Toronto to L.A. on American Airlines and that flight now has Wi-Fi thanks to Gogo. I almost always use it so when the captain announced we were descending rapidly because we were about to hit severe turbulence due to an unusual strong Jetstream the first site I logged on to was TurbulenceForecast.com.

I wanted to see how long it would last for and sure enough it depicted severe turbulence over the Rockies which we were fast approaching. The good news it wasn’t as bad as the pilot expected and I felt relieved to see smooth flying the rest of the way. Hopefully, you will find this website as helpful as I did. They have an app too.
