Wow! Take a look at all of those airport codes and the best part … a few of them were new codes for airports I’ve never been to before. Highlights included: Staying at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, visiting the backwaters of Kerala, relaxing at the Taj Exotica Resort in the Maldives (is that just ridiculous or what?!), visiting Doha, flying Qatar Airways and walking around New York’s Central Park. Then I finally had my Nexus and Global Entry interview in Canada, visited my dad in Erie and my sister and her spoiled kids in south Florida. After all of that, there was just time to change my underwear in L.A., attend the TriBeCa Film Festival with my dad and then fly to Paris on Air France to get a behind-the-scenes tour of their airline and the CDG airport. What a month of air travel, eh?!
Did you travel last month? If so, please share your April airport codes in the comments section below.
Carriers: 18 (Southwest, Delta, American, Caribbean Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Horizon, Skywest, United, Hawaiian, US Airways, Qatar Airways, Jet Airways, Jet Konnect, Air India, American Eagle, Delta Connection, United Express, Air France)
Countries: 10 (USA, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Qatar, India, Maldives, France)
States: 9 (FL, CA, NY, PA, HI, AZ, CT, MI, TX)
Oh boy. You’re gonna’ LOVE Global Entry!
That’s a crazy circuit man! It was great meeting up in NYC. Hopefully we’ll cross paths again soon.
… or maybe I’ll just see you in an airport somewhere. :)
So far this year, 130,312 miles, 77 segments, 15 countries and 16 airlines. But it is nice to be home in LA.
