For example, instead of receiving 1,000 Flying Club Miles for 1,000 Membership Rewards points, Eligible Cardmembers will receive 1,350 Flying Club Miles for the same 1,000 Membership Rewards points when they transfer points between November 27 2012 and December 29, 2012.
Currently, Virgin Atlantic operates non-stop flights to London from New York (JFK), Newark, Boston, Washington DC, Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver.
To transfer Membership Rewards points into Flying Club, American Express Cardmembers should visit membershiprewards.com/virginatlantic. Once points have been transferred, reward flights* can be booked on Virgin Atlantic by visiting virginatlantic.com/flyingclub.
American Express Cardmembers who do not have Flying Club account can enroll at no cost at membershiprewards.com/virginatlantic.
*Reward flight bookings are subject to availability and exclude taxes, fees and charges.
BTW: Lucky over at One Mile at a Time has some good transferring advice.
