Pocket Purifier

I admit I’m a borderline Germaphobe. When I travel I wipe down airplane seats, hotel rooms and rental cars with anti-bacterial wipes. I’m about to step it up a notch with the new Pocket Purifier. It’s a lightweight, convenient way to sanitize surfaces and objects with the same UV-C light that hospitals use to sterilize surgical instruments. Supposedly the ultraviolet light and nanotechnology eliminate 99.9% of germs that cause colds and flu, e-coli, salmonella, mold, fungus and MRSA (staph). The bulb lasts 9,000 hours and to scan a hard surface or object all it takes is 15-30 seconds. $14.99

Make sure you get the tray table too, just read a while ago that these and the seat pockets are the most germ ridden things on the plane. Yuk!
