Anthony Bourdain has done it again! This is his third travel show, and first for his new network CNN. Appropriately titled Parts Unknown, Tony takes us on an hour-long tour of one of the most fabled and beautiful areas of Asia. Myanmar is a country I’ve wanted to visit for a long time and Tony’s incredible journey makes me just want to go even more. What’s great is that CNN put the show online (not sure if it’s available outside of the U.S.) and I hope they do it every week (the show airs on Sundays at 9pm ET). My favorite parts were seeing the human-powered Ferris wheel and one of the scariest train rides ever in which the scenery reminded me a lot of my trip on the Eastern & Oriental Express from Bangkok to Singapore (my story | video).
