Christmas in Trafalgar SqThe Best Time to Travel? (and Happy Holidays!)
One of the two best times of the year to travel is fast approaching us: the week after New Year’s (the other is the week after Thanksgiving). In the travel industry, weeks like these are referred to as “dead weeks” because very few people are traveling. After Thanksgiving, everyone is gearing up for the holidays, and after New Year’s, everyone has already spent their money and the kids are back in school.

But if you can take time off, it’s a fantastic time to travel. Not only is everything much cheaper but you can also have the resort/hotel/destination practically to yourself! And the best part—many dead week deals are last minute, so be sure to keep an eye out in the coming days. Here’s one example: NYC typically charges close to $500 for these hotels but during January 3-12 some of these hotels start at $100/night.

Hotels get cheaper indeed, but flights generally stay the same… Getting there and out the cheap way would be great performance!
