ShowerWho Needs an Iron?
When I arrive to a hotel and have a business meeting, there’s nothing worse than finding my blazer, pants and shirt wrinkled. The quick fix? I hang my wrinkled clothes in the bathroom when I take a hot shower; the steam usually takes the wrinkles right out so I don’t have to iron!

I have a travel tip of my own. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place.
Carry a photocopy of your passport when you travel either here or abroad. We’ve all heard horror stories about fraud that’s committed on us in stealing a name, address, social security number, credit cards. In case your luggage is lost, make sure the list is in your carry-on bag, especially if you are abroad and need immediate access to those numbers.

I don’t like this purely because you have just made a “cheat sheet” for anybody wanting ti pillage your accounts!

Instead I take photos on my smartphone (handy if you don’t have a scanner available) and then have one copy on my phone and one copy on the cloud. You can access it via a number of means on the go, instantly. Family can also access it remotely if need be too.

Just don’t do as I did recently and fell asleep waiting for the wrinkles. When I woke up much of the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off.

If it is an outfit you don’t need until the next day, spray your outfit with some water and leave outfit hanging in the closet. Wrinkles will be gone the next morning. I carry a small spray bottle with me.

This is a great tip, and it really works. If you don’t have time to shower and need to wear those wrinkled clothes, try Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray. I don’t like to spray chemicals on my clothes, but in a pinch, I’m willing to compromise if I absolutely have to.

I always carry a small spritz bottle and a pants hanger. Easy to hang up clothes and spray…wrinkles come out. Next trip I will bring a clothes line and clothes pins. I hate to iron.
