BedPhoneless Nights
When I travel, I turn off my cell phone at night because I don’t want to be awakened by texts or phone calls, especially from marketers and especially when I’m halfway around the world. Instead, I give my hotel name and room number to my loved ones and colleagues so if there’s an emergency, they can reach me instantly—and the rest of the time, I can get a good night’s sleep.

    Only problem is I use my cell phone as an alarm.

      Test it but it should turn on even if it’s off

    Several of smart phones out today have a feature to lower or mute the ringer and text notification while keeping the alarm volume on. Some automatically can be set to enter or exit this mode based on the time, date, phones location (home, on work WiFi, etc.), charging, etc. In Android phones look for the “SmartActions” app.
