Travel Tip of the Day: Beach Valuables

BeachBeach Valuables
If you’ll be going for a swim in the ocean, don’t bring your valuables to the beach. If you must, either ask someone you can trust to watch them or better yet, wrap your wallet, phone, passport, etc. in a plastic bag and bury the whole thing in the sand below your towel. When I’m alone, I don’t swim too far out and I always keep an eye on my things.

FYI: The spectacular beach above can be found at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki.
