Car Trunk Caution

Yesterday, I wrote a quick tip about how to not have your road trip ruined because having your stuff stolen can do just that. You can read it here.

On the road, and really anywhere, remember: Don’t ever leave your valuables in your car—even in the trunk—in plain view. Instead, place your belongings into your trunk before you arrive at your destination. Even in touristy places like in Hawaii, where you would think your stuff would be safe, it’s not necessarily. Don’t take chances. You never know.

I do this all the time ever around where I live. If for instance I go to the gym, I stop before getting there and put my pack-pack and other valuables in my trunk. My car also has a key lock for the trunk and back seats that I always keeped locked. Great advice as usual. I walk by cars all the time with pocketbooks, laptops, iPad clearly exposed.
