LAXLeave Extra Time Getting to LAX
I’ve warned you about construction delays this summer at Newark and San Francisco airports. Well, it gets worse, and now, you can add LAX to the list of airports undergoing major renovations. Fortunately, the projects at LAX (which you can read more about here) are really only going to affect travelers driving to the airport but unfortunately, the work won’t be done until early 2016. So, leave plenty of time before you go—and monitor the progress and, more importantly, the traffic, by logging on to laxishappening.com.

also, if you are transferring terminals then also remember to leave extra time as you have to exit the airport and then transfer to your terminal and go through security again – a huge time waste with lots of congestion and long lines!
