FireworksDon’t Bring Fireworks on the Plane
If you’re flying somewhere for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend, repeat after me: I will not bring fireworks on the plane. You can’t fly with fireworks any day of the year as they’re explosive devices, but every year, on and around July 4, people try, and as a result security lines are slowed, people are delayed and an already messy few days of travel get even messier.

The TSA blogs their own reminder every year to try to keep things moving as fast as possible, and this year it’s especially good advice because airport traffic is expected to be even higher than usual. So help yourself and help your fellow travelers—and don’t try to fly with fireworks.
