reader-travel-tip2Open Your Hotel Safe the Night Before
Each Friday, we’re featuring a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Del C., who builds on Wednesday’s “shoe in the safe” tip by saying:

“The shoe in the safe is a good idea, but in addition, we do NOT leave the safe locked on the last night of our stay. What happens if the safe won’t open the next morning and it has your wallet, passport, boarding passes, etc.? If the safe has a problem, and they can, better to find it out the night before rather than when you are in a hurry to catch a flight, or cruise, etc.”

A great addition, and a great tip in its own right. Thanks Del!
