PhoneBe Careful when Speaking about Sensitive Business
It still astounds me to hear people speaking really loudly about sensitive business on the phone or to a colleague on a plane, in a club room, at the gate, on a train, or wherever—in any public place. You have no idea who’s listening and in this day and age of social media, you have to assume that everyone is indeed listening at all times. A better idea? Speak really softly or go to a private space to talk about sensitive subjects.

What do you consider “sensitive business”? I feel like everyone has a different definition of that.

Thank you for bringing up this topic. It is part of a larger, societal problem in which people are just talking too loud, not bothering to realize or care that their voices may be intrusive. I think it is a secondary effect of rudeness of cell phone users.
