Air New Zealand has a history of making viral-ready safety videos (like this one), and their latest—”The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made”—is more of the same. Like others before it, it features a Hobbit theme and includes a number of the real-life people involved in the epic series, including Elijah Wood and director Peter Jackson (who is apparently Sir Peter Jackson). It’s promoting the fifth and final film in the series, “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” and so the hashtag #airnzhobbit is along for the ride.
Always great to see airlines having fun with these safety videos. Air New Zealand delivers again.
