LOS ANGELES – Since its opening in February at
Hollywood’s
historic and dazzling Pantages Theatre, the Tony Award-winning musical WICKED
has been a sold-out, box office-breaking phenomenon. Now, LA INC. is partnering with 12
hotels to offer Special VIP WICKED packages that guarantee VIP tickets and a
great place to stay.
The musical is in LA once again after a seven-week, sellout engagement at
the Pantages Theatre in summer 2005.
From June 2007 to March 2008, visitors will be able to purchase a hotel
package and stay at one of a dozen top LA hotels: Beverly Garland’s Holiday Inn,

WICKED has been called by the New York Times as “one of the most
successful shows in Broadway history.”
The musical has already broken the Pantages Theatre house record for the
highest grossing show for the week ending March 4 – the same theatre that was
the Los Angeles
home to “The Lion King”, “Mama Mia”, and “The Producers” recently. Ticketmaster’s recently released Top Ten
Most Requested Events of 2006 ranked
WICKED #1, the first time a theatrical production
has made the list.
LA’s WICKED is a spectacular production. The Los Angeles Times said, “The show

Eden Espinosa and Megan Hilty as Elphaba and Glinda. Both actresses appeared in their roles
in the Broadway production of WICKED.

Awards, WICKED tells the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other
girls meet in the land of Oz. One,
born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and
very popular. WICKED tells the
story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become
the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
WICKED has returned to the city where it was developed, written and had
its first readings. And to the city
where the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz, was made.
The 12 hotels who are participating in this offer are among LA’s top
