Yesterday, I was supposed to fly back to California but my brother and sister both talked me out of going. USAir's change fee (and hold time) was so ridiculous I just let my return portion of my ticket go to waste. Instead I called American and switched my flight to San Jose from LAX to Miami. That means I get to hang out with my niece and nephew longer. Last night I took the two of them to Ben & Jerry's for ice cream and guess who was making an in-store appearance? Ben!
