Before I left Mexico I drove about an hour North of Cabo to Todas Santos to check out the artsy town. This painting was my favorite! 

NATIVE AMERICAN SWEAT LODGE
One of the unusual (and great) treatments that Pueblo Bonito Pacifica offers is Temescal which is a Native American Sweat Lodge. It is, undoubtedly, a powerful remedy.  

Also next store is an amazing restaurant called La Frida.

The Pacifica Hotel is beautiful but they still need about 1-3 months to finish up all the construction.  

I went to downtown Cabo San Lucas with my colleagues/friends. We had a good time at Sancho Panza and Cabo Wabo. 

I am in Cabo checking out the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Hotel that opened up 5 days ago.  

I just jumped on this airline. Can you guess where I am headed? Of course, I am off to Mexico. Ariba! Ariba! 

I haven't played softball (one of my favorite games) in along time so when I was asked to join a team I jumped at the chance. It's a coed league which I wasn't too into at first but the 3 mandatory girls on our team are really good. Surprisingly, I was 7 for 7 with four home runs and 14 RBI's in my first two games. Well, today that streak came to a screeching halt. Not only could I not hit but I got really banged up. First, while playing in at 3rd base to try and turn a double play I took a hard grounder right on my bare thumb (it took a bad hop and missed my glove completely). It went numb instantly and was bleeding all around my nail. It then turned black and blue as I sat on the bench to rest for a couple innings. I was in so much pain I couldn't throw too well but stupid me still wanted to play so when I was asked if I could shag balls in left field I said sure. Well, this is where I should've been carried off the field. The batter hit a shallow pop up which was perfect to dive for an make an amazing catch which I tried to do but not only did I not come up with the ball as I flew through the air but when I landed I thought I broke my wrist, ribs and pulled my left groin. I know I did the latter for sure. I have never pulled a groin before and I gotta tell you it hurts more than my throbbing thumb which I didn't think were possible. Driving home I just hoped I didn't get pulled over because I had my right thumb in a cup of ice and a bag of the cold stuff on my crotch. Somebody help me.

 

Dinner at Spago's. Get the Chocolate Melting Cake! 

I tried out Vegas.com 's new Show Packages. My cousin and I received two tickets to a show and dinner at Spago (which was really good). Unfortunately, the main entertainer called in sick so they cancelled the perfomance. It was just as well because I didn't feel like going to see Celine Dion with my cousin. I will use that credit for the next time I am in Vega$ and a safe bet would be -- it won't be with Dennis.  

Vega$ Baby! Just checked into The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. This is an all-suite hotel that is in the smaller building next to Mandalay (they are connected underground). It's a great place to stay and I will write more about it in our newsletter. Resource:
 

Saturday night I was in Santa Monica with some of my cousin’s and friends to go bowling. It was the first time I had done that in a long time and you know what?? It was a great time.

My niece and nephew went back home and I was bummed because I received a last minute invite to the Kids Choice Awards at UCLA a couple days later. This is the Oscar's for kids and is the second toughest ticket to get in town (since all the Hollywood Execs want tickets for their kids). I went just to take pictures for Amanda and Johnny. My favorite part of the night was the after party's dessert bar. It was incredible!
 

It was a mad dash at the Four Seasons annual Easter egg hunt. Johnny and Amanda cleaned house.
 

I think the kids favorite place was La Jolla. They loved checking out the caves and the Seals on the beach.
 

The kids loved Legoland. The secret is to arrive right when they open at 10am to beat the midday crowds.
 

We joined my Uncle Joe and all his kids (and grandkids) for the weekend in San Diego.  

For Easter weekend we went to The Four Seasons Aviara which is in Carlsbad (North San Diego) with about 20 of my relatives. The kids loved the pool and Legoland which is 8 minutes away.
 

My sister Carol and her family came out from Florida to celebrate Easter with me and our cousins.
 

Last week I flew back to Los Angeles via Newark. It was a long day of traveling but Continental's First/BusinessFirst class made it easy.
