My buddy Mike and his parents picked me up from the Naples airport and we drove 90 minutes to there house in Moio, Italy.

On the way we stopped at a gas station. Get this they served some of the best pizza I have ever had.

Then we stopped at the Nido Country House in Casal Velino Marina. We had a tasty late dinner.

Now doesn't that look good!

Mike's parents house was really nice and I slept well each night.

Every morning we went down to town and had breakfast

That's right! It was more like dessert. Posted by Picasa

Venice is where I parted ways with my sister and dad. Carol went home on the second day.

My dad and Nancy flew back to the States two days later.

My trip was just beginning as I headed off to the airport!

I was sad to leave them but happy I didnt have to lug around any more huge bags as I flew to Napoli.

I bought a one way ticket on AlpiEagles (a low cost airline) for $97. The flight took exactly 1 hour.

Venice was better then I ever imagined. I heard so many negative things about Venice but I found them untrue. It's now one of my favorite cities. ||  Posted by Picasa
