WEBSITE OF THE DAY: Healthy.net

Healthy.net
Whenever I travel outside of the country, I tend to think about all the “what ifs”. What if a poisonous spider bites me? What if a snake strangles me? You don’t even want to know some of the other concerns that run wild in my mind; some of it’s just demented stuff. But, I don’t think I’m alone in this. The best way to ease your fears is preparation. Here’s a website that has all kinds of information on emergency and first-aid care, from general tips to prevention, to questions to ask yourself or a healthcare professional, should you find yourself in an emergency situation. The website addresses an assortment of potential incidences from animal bites and sunburn to frostbite and drowning. Hopefully, none of us will ever need this information but it’s good to know where it is, just in case. As the old adage goes, better safe than sorry. Travel safe.
