A new website called InsideTrip.com debuted this week. It’s your standard online booking tool but with a twist. It not only provides fares, but also factors in and evaluates some important particulars that the novice traveler might not be aware of. InsideTrip rates the amount of legroom on the plane, how often a particular flight is on time, the aircraft type, how crowded the flight typically is, connection times and so on. I wasn’t able to give it a good whirl as I’m traveling and when I pulled the site up, the homepage screen greeted me with an error message: “Sorry, your web browser is not yet supported. You need to download a new version of Firefox or Internet Explorer.” What the blank?! I’ve never seen that one before. Let’s just hope they have better luck rating flights.
