PICKING UP GARBAGE

I’ve been going for walks on the beach everyday this week with my dad here in south Florida. At first my dad would only collect seashells but after a couple of days of watching me pickup garbage (mostly plastic bags) he started helping me. Then he turned into the point man – look there, grab that – don’t forget this …. I can’t help it but every beach I go to I try and pickup plastic bags – maybe I have OCD. Malaysia was by far the worst but Florida needs some help too. If everyone who visited the beach would not only not litter but pick up at least 3 pieces of garbage this place would be a better place and I could stroll without having my OCD kick-in.
