Paint your luggage wheelsEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader John, who says:

“Since most luggage ends up on its side when it makes it to the luggage carousel, just paint the wheels with a fluorescent or some other color to your liking. Of course wrapping the handle using one of the new duct tape designs is also a good way to make your luggage stand out.”

Thanks, John!

I mark my luggage, top, bottom & (2) sides w/ strips of plastic colored tape. The strips are the primary colors of my nationalities’ flag.
This has worked extremely well, as it makes identical luggage unique.Helped well when luggage was lost 1 time !!!
I also attach a silly tag on the handle that I got online… Gaudy colors w/ “This is soooo not your bag ” , “Put me down !” & a couple other tags were in the packet…
