    Coast Kids Program

I invited my sister Carol and her husband, Tom, to join us at the very last minute. Carol couldn't find a babysitter for my 12-year-old (going on 20) niece, Amanda. But the Ritz-Carlton said Carol could bring Amanda and she could hang out in the kids' club or with us in the lobby. Well, Amanda made a beeline to the kids' club, and after I heard how much fun she was having down there I went to see it for myself. It was unreal and I thought, why not have Amanda do a little write-up on it since a kid is the real judge of a children's program? As you can see below, Amanda passed with flying colors. She put in all the info I asked and sent it to me right on time. Here it is unedited.

Trying to find a trustworthy babysitter at the Ritz.
Hi my name is Amanda and I'm a travel writer in training. You may know my uncle Johnny Jet. He's a real travel writer. I had my first assignment today (02/07/10) to check out the kid's corner at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach Florida. I went to Coast. Coast is the teen lounge for ages 13-17. They have the coolest things like a DJ booth where you can do karaoke, write a song, listen to music and best of all you can be the DJ and spin the records and control the song. It rocks! They also have 10 Mac computers with internet. They have very fun video games. They have The Nintendo Wii, X-box and Rock band. For the girly girls they have Coast beauty. Coast beauty is where teens can get their hair, makeup, and nails done. Then they can borrow or bring clothes, shoes, and accessories for a photo shoot. I think the people who made this place put a lot of heart, time and money into it. But if you don't have a teen then your child can go to AquaNuts. AquaNuts is a kid's camp for ages 5-12. AquaNuts offers fully supervised fun in half day, full day and evening adventures. Prices: $55 for half a day, $95 for a full day (including a nutritious lunch), $65 for the evening.

They have very fun stuff. I made a shirt and put on a play for the other kids in the audience. They have fun activities like arts and crafts, outdoor games, a stage, a rock climbing wall, beach and pool time, TV, games, animals and so much more. The staff was great and never made my stay boring. I love it there and will even have my birthday party there! So come and see AquaNuts and Coast at the Ritz!
