  • Are you wondering which are the busiest days to fly in November and December? Well, my good buddy and mentor Chris McGinnis (editor of the new Expedia Travel Trendwatch and creator of The Ticket, a monthly travel newsletter and website) has not only spelled it out below, but has created an excellent chart so that people can easily see on which days air traffic will be heaviest. Here’s the 4-1-1: "THE TICKET asked our contacts at Delta and AirTran about the upcoming holiday peak season and got the skinny for you: Both carriers expect the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (Thur Nov 22) and the Sunday and Monday afterward to be extremely busy. For Christmas, Delta’s Andy McDill says the Thursday thru Saturday before Christmas (Tues Dec 25) and New Years (12/20-12/22 and 12/27-12-28) as well as Thursday and Saturday after New Years (1/3/2008 and 1/5/2008) are expected to be the highest volume days for the holidays. According to AirTran’s Tad Hutcheson, Thanksgiving morning is full, but tapers off after noon. The busiest days for Christmas this year will be Dec 21, 22, 26 and 29. Others will be solid. Christmas Day will be light, as always. Christmas Day is one of the slowest days of the holidays in terms of traffic." • The Invisible Armor is an alcohol-free antibacterial skin sanitizer and protector. It is effective against most germs and bacteria including Staph, MRSA and more. Unlike alcohol-based products (which have no residual germ killing properties--once the alcohol evaporates in about 15-30 seconds, there isn't anything left to protect the skin), The Invisible Armor protects against recontamination for up to (4) hours, even with repeated hand washings (without leaving a sticky or slimy film on the hands). It is also non-toxic and hypoallergenic. The most recent test results (conducted by The University of North Carolina) show that even when diluted 1:1,000,000 The Invisible Armor completely kills and inhibits the growth of Staph, MRSA and more.

GOOD TO KNOW!
Why do airlines limit the cheapest fares to a 30-day stay?

You're right that airlines often limit sale fares to a maximum stay of one month. While that's not a problem for many travelers, it can be a hassle for those planning a longer trip. Thirty days may seem like an arbitrary amount of time, but the reasoning behind it is anything but arbitrary.
