- Feeling amorous? Then get over to The Met and appreciate the works inspired by love, sex and the joys and pains of union as depicted by great artists for the Italian elite. Don't miss the Love of the Gods chamber where some drawings, considered pornographic, were purchased and salted away from the public eye until the 1990s.
View colorful masterpiece paintings commissioned for Medici nobility and others, to commemorate births, marriages and loyalty. Be sure to rent a headset to decode the painted scenes ... you will never view ornate Italian dishware the same way again and will walk away, as this writer did, with a new appreciation for romance and love -- Italian style.

- No more boarding cards? e-boarding is being introduced by Continental Airlines at New York's La Guardia Airport. Paperless boarding works like this -- passengers with smartphones get an encrypted electronic boarding pass sent to their device, which a TSA agent reads using a handheld scanner. A photo ID will still be required. The program is already in use at Continental gates in Houston, D.C., Newark, Boston, Austin, San Antonio and Cleveland. Delta uses the paperless boarding system at LaGuardia and in Indianapolis for Northwest passengers.
