According to data gathered by American Express in a survey of 402 of its travel agents and representatives. It found that the week between Christmas and New Year's ¬- not Thanksgiving weekend ¬- will see the largest number of passengers taking to the skies. Sixty-seven percent reported that the week between Christmas and New Year's had received the largest number of bookings, more than the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas (27 percent), during Thanksgiving (18 percent), after the new year (8 percent), or before Thanksgiving (4 percent).
