WEBSITE OF THE WEEK |
- WhichBudget.com
This is my new favorite budget airline website. While trying to find a flight between Rome and Prague, all the big online travel agencies insisted I have to make a stop. They quoted huge dollars, especially for one-way fares. I cut the price in half by putting in a return date (even though I wasn’t going to use it), but it remained expensive. Then I logged on to WhichBudget.com, and found out a low-fare carrier flies between Rome and Prague: SkyEurope. Then I found their fare: 80 euros ($100) -- including taxes! WhichBudget.com is easy to navigate. Just choose the country you want to depart from, then then city, then your destination. If an airline flies that route, you'll see a link to that low-fare carrier. Just check the departure airport (it's not always the main one). And pack light -- many of these carriers have strict baggage rules. NOTE: WhichBudget.com isn’t just for low-fare European carriers. They cover 107 different countries, 113 airlines, 710 airports and 1,6061 routes!
