Nothing on the tube in your domestic hotel room? And you don’t have a
SlingBox? Well, here’s another option for you to cure your travel boredom, if there’s such a thing as travel boredom. Break out your laptop and log on to Hulu.com, which just launched today. This website is a joint venture between NBC Universal and Fox. It has a ton of TV shows and video clips available to anyone who logs on. The video-streaming website displays free TV shows and feature films from NBC, Fox and more than 50 other media companies including Sony Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. This site aims to be the premiere video-streaming destination online and they’re still pursuing deals with ABC, Disney and CBS. In case you’re wondering, they make their money from the ads.
You know I’m a huge fan of
WhichBudget.com. It’s because of them that I saved over $700 last summer
when I flew from Nice to Rome. Here’s a link to the story. Well, a site similar to WhichBudget.com is low-cost-airline-guide.com.
It’s another resource for you to check out and who knows ... you might even like their user interface better.
