I ran into a buddy today who said he needs to get his
passport renewed (he's flying to Canada in August). I
told him to hurry up. Because of new rules, the
National Passport Center is getting slammed.
It's taking up 10 weeks to process them. This site
eliminates a trip to the post office to get forms. Even
better yet, it allows users to type info right on the
forms. There is no charge to view, complete, save or
print the passport forms. It's good for both renewals
and first timers. You can also find a large number of
other forms in Immigration, Court and Legal, Federal
Civil, Insurance, Tax & Employment and Worker's
Compensation categories. All forms can be
accessed using any browser running on Mac,
Windows, Linux, Unix and other operating systems.
For more info on passport requirements, see the
U.S. State Department.
This handy new powerful weather engine assists
travelers in picking the best time to visit a destination.
Select one country at a time; if you can't decide
between two destinations, you can compare them
through simple graphs showing the best time of year
to go, minimum and maximum temperatures, sea
temperatures, precipitation days per month, and
hours of sunshine.
