I received a reader email yesterday, asking what I thought of Cathay Pacific’s business class service. Unfortunately,
I’ve never been up front on Cathay, just in the back. Here’s my review. My best advice is to check out FlatSeats.com for their independent seat reviews. It’s similar to TripAdvisor and they offer up passenger reviews for more than 550 airlines.
One of my favorite traffic monitors is TrafficGauge.com. Not only can you view it online but you can also get a handheld device (similar in size to an iPhone), which provides live updates so you don’t have to listen to the radio DJ run through traffic updates at warp speed. When TrafficGuage.com first started out, they offered traffic conditions for just Los Angeles and Orange County. Fast forward to today and they now offer reports for all of the following cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Louisville, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, OC/Inland Empire, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh/Durham, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Fernando, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. Why waste time sitting in traffic when you can take an alternate route?
