JohnnyJet's in Maui
Lately I've been cruising around on travel websites where real people are blogging about their travels and sharing photos of what they saw and did. Kinda like this site. :) I've been learning alot about different international places I could visit and have been getting ideas with where I could take hawaiiandreams.net... Anyhow, one of my favorite websites is johnnyjet.com. I've been really enjoying reading Johnny's weekly updates from around the world and seeing what he's been up to. I get almost impatient waiting to see what he will share in the coming week!
He has probably got the coolest job in the world. If I was a single man, I would totally try to do something like this... He travels everywhere and gets to share his experiences with the world via the internet. I'm sure most of his traveling expenses are paid for through advertising . He probably gets sent alot of free travel gear to try out also. I've noticed that he takes friends (usually female) and family with him whenever he gets a chance. The only downside that I can think of is the man literally lives out of his suitcase. His home is in Los Angeles, but he's rarely there. A job like that could be really taxing on a marriage and raising a family!
It was kinda ironic in a way that this week's update on johnnyjet.com was from Maui...my favorite Hawaiian island. He stayed at the Wailea Beach Villas which were built in 2006. These villas are very exclusive and have alot of privacy. They were built along the golden sand of Wailea Beach, which is my wife's favorite beach in Maui. Johnny likes to take pictures of everything in hotels and of all the food he eats. He always seems to have photos of the bathroom, which to some people is the most important room in a hotel. :) He also went outrigger canoeing and snorkeled with many turtles that were getting the algae eaten of their backs by hungry fish. Anyone been to the Turtle Car Wash?
It's a really good read and I recommend checking it out HERE. You might want to bookmark the site so you can check out where Johnny's at next week.
