KATHY'S ANSWERS
HOW OFTEN DO YOU FLY?
I fly an average of 5 to 10 times a year.
WHAT CLASS OF SERVICE DO YOU MOSTLY FLY IN?
I have a very unfortunate answer to this question - coach.
FAVORITE AIRLINE?
Alitalia, since it is usually delivering me to my favorite place in the world, Italy.
FAVORITE AIRCRAFT?
The bigger, the better; I'm not into flying on propellors, etc.
FAVORITE HOTEL?
A small hotel called L'Abbaye in Tailloires, France.
FAVORITE AIRPORT?
Reagan National in D.C. You can't beat the view as you fly in.
FAVORITE CITY?
Hands down, it's the Eternal City, Rome.
AISLE OR WINDOW?
Definitely, aisle. I like to have the chance to get up and walk around.
ETICKET OR PAPER?
I'm a 21st century traveler - e-ticket.
TRAVEL AGENT OR ONLINE?
Online.
FAVORITE TRAVEL WEBSITE?
It's the soon-to-be-launched USATODAY.com travel site which I have been working my heart out on. After that, it's the Johnny Jet site -- really!
FAVORITE TRAVEL COMPANION?
My mom. She has the same passion for life and travel that I do and we have a great time together.
BEST TRAVEL TIP:
Bring food and drinks. I used to make fun of my mother for packing up the kitchen before we left for any trip, but in these days of delays, you can't go wrong by bringing snacks.
