Rudy Maxa is one of America’s premier consumer travel experts whose writings, radio and television shows have helped save travelers both time and money. A former Washington Post investigative reporter and life-long traveler, Rudy began covering the travel industry 15 years ago for public radio’s evening business show, “Marketplace” under the moniker, “The Savvy Traveler." An award-winning writer and contributing editor with National Geographic Traveler magazine, Rudy also hosts 65 shows on destinations in Europe and the Pacific Rim on public television ("Smart Travels: Europe with Rudy Maxa" and "Smart Travels: Pacific Rim with Rudy Maxa").
