Scott McMurren lives in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife, Christy and their two sons. He authors a weekly travel column in the Anchorage (Alaska) Daily News, hosts a weekly travel radio show on KFQD radio and publishes a weekly e-mail travel newsletter, the Alaska Travelgram (WWW.ALASKATRAVELGRAM.COM). He also publishes an Alaska travel discount coupon book, the Great Alaskan TourSaver (www.toursaver.com), with free or 2-for-1 offers from more than 130 companies around the state including Alaska Airlines, Princess Tours, the Alaska Railroad and the Alaska Marine Highway. When he’s not on the road, McMurren enjoys shoveling his l-o-n-g driveway, following their record-setting 28.6-inch snowfall yesterday. HA HA!
