I'm on the road about one week a month.
IN A YEAR HOW MANY MILES/POINTS DO YOU EARN?
Roughly 50,000 air miles.
WHAT CLASS OF SERVICE DO YOU MOSTLY FLY IN?
Coach, or as we in the back of the plane call it, "Second Class."
FAVORITE AIRLINE?
There's a difference?
FAVORITE AIRCRAFT?
Any kind as long as take-offs = landings.
FAVORITE HOTEL?
Phantom Ranch in Grand Canyon National Park. It's a little out of the way and the accommodations are Spartan, but the scenery... ahhhh.
FAVORITE AIRPORT?
Monterey, California -- Small, low key, no solicitors, and a short walk from long-term parking to the gates.
FAVORITE CITY?
U.S., big: Chicago, hands-down.
U.S., small: Cayucos, California (really small).
International, big: Edinburgh, Scotland.
International, small: Nerja, Spain.
AISLE OR WINDOW?
Believe it or not, I'd rather have a MIDDLE seat in the exit row than an aisle or window seat anyplace else in Second Class.
ETICKET OR PAPER?
Eticket.

FAVORITE TRAVEL WEBSITE?

FAVORITE TRAVEL COMPANION?
Mackie and Murphie, our mutts. It means that we are traveling someplace local and don't have to venture near an airport.

The experienced traveler's mantra: Take half as many clothes and twice as much money.
