With More than 30 years of commercial and private travel industry experience. Terry Trippler is considered America’s foremost authority on the airlines and the rules that govern their operation.

Trippler began his a career as an airline ticket agent and has since held several industry positions from which he learned his trade. Today, he is a consultant specializing in airline rules and regulations earning wide respect throughout the industry and beyond for his impartial and balanced view of the air transportation industry. His mission is to educate the travelers as to their rights and responsibilities as well as to offer constructive input into the fair operation of our nation’s air transportation industry.

Terry Trippler’s widely regarded expertise has resulted in his being quoted in such leading publications as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s Financial Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Washington Post, and the USA Today. HOW OFTEN DO YOU FLY?
As little as possible.
I only fly about 4 or 5 times a year.
IN A YEAR HOW MANY MILES/POINTS DO YOU EARN?
I do not belong to any frequent flyer programs.
WHAT CLASS OF SERVICE DO YOU MOSTLY FLY IN?
I try to avoid airlines whenever possible and then only first or business class travel.
FAVORITE AIRLINE?
Actually my favorite airline WAS TWA and with them out of business it is now Continental
FAVORITE AIRCRAFT?
Boeing 747
FAVORITE HOTEL?
Ritz Carlton in Kansas City
FAVORITE AIRPORT?
Mpls/St. Paul because that usually means I am home.
FAVORITE CITY?
Mpls/St. Paul because then I AM home. When I am away from home it would have to be Honolulu.
AISLE OR WINDOW?
Window
ETICKET OR PAPER?
Paper but am slowly being convinced to go "e ticket"
TRAVEL AGENT OR ONLINE?
I Only deal with a travel agent
