WHY TAKE THE TRAIN AROUND EUROPE WHEN YOU CAN TAKE A JET?
Good news for travelers from around the world (European residents are
not eligible) who want to visit multiple cities in Europe, and don't want to
take the train around. You can now use a new air pass offered by United Airlines
and the Star Alliance (a consortium of 15 European and international
carriers). The deal is you have to fly United to and from Europe,
choose your destinations and pay in advance (but you do not have to select your
travel dates beforehand). As an example, a passenger arriving in Paris
could fly on to Copenhagen, then to Frankfurt, and return to Paris for $225.
Most major European cities are reachable with the pass, and the coupons are good
for three months. The Pass is a package of 3 to 10 coupons. The fare for each
coupon depends on distance traveled and ranges from $60 (for one-way
flights up to 150 miles) to $220 (flights of 2,251 to 2,500 miles). You Do
accrue Miles on United! For more details, contact United Airlines
