SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT TO OPEN FINZ, A DYNAMIC NEW RESTAURANT CONCEPT FOR FAMILY DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT

Restaurant to Open in Spring 2004 After an Extensive Renovation

of Sandestin's Elephant Walk Restaurant and Governor's Attic Lounge

Destin, Fla. - January 7, 2004 - Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort readies for the Spring 2004 opening of its new restaurant, Finz.  The new restaurant, which is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, will provide families, couples and singles with indoor and outdoor seating for lunch and dinner, animation and nightly entertainment.

Sandestin will transform its Elephant Walk Restaurant and Governor's Attic Lounge into a new split-level, dual-themed dynamic concept featuring a colorful, retro-chic theme that will enhance the family dining experience at the resort.  The $500,000 renovation and remodeling project is set to get underway on January 1, 2004 and be completed by March 2004.

In addition to a lively dining experience, guests will enjoy superior service and a varied menu of regionally-inspired dishes that are sure to become fast favorites among patrons. Finz will feature contemporary comfort food infused with Cajun and Low Country influences specializing in seafood straight from the Gulf. Upstairs, the menu will feature a selection of fresh seafood and regional specialties.

Upon its re-opening as Finz, the restaurant will take on a new style that vacationing parents and their children will find to be exciting and appealing.  Like many of the new restaurant and retail concepts located within Sandestin's Village of Baytowne Wharf on the bayside of the resort, Finz provides the beachside of the property with a fun and animated place where guests can dine inside or outside while overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

The main dining room will feature hardwood floors, colorful upholstery in seaglass hues and thatched textures, and bright lighting celebrating the surrounding natural colors of the beach, ocean and sun. Space will also be converted for an entertainment and bar area. In addition, there are plans to increase the outdoor seating area by expanding the existing deck that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico as well as the pool terrace.  The outdoor dining area will also be raised to allow for a better view of the beach, gulf and sunsets.

Upstairs, the changes will be equally dramatic. The new, split-level space will have a sophisticated design, and feature cocktail seating around the bar and dining tables located on the lower level of the room.  The upstairs dining room space at Finz, which Sandestin expects will become one of the most sought-after upscale dining experiences on the Emerald Coast, will also be available for private parties of up to 80 people. Colored glass tableware in striking blues and greens will add to the dining room's crisp metropolitan appeal.   White tablecloths, plush, rich upholstery, granite tables and luxurious tabletop appointments will be complemented by superior service. When not reserved for private functions, the space will be available for a la Carte upscale dining for adults seeking a quiet dining experience.

"We are extremely excited about Finz and expect this brand new dining concept to add to the resort's family-friendly atmosphere," said Mike Stange, vice president and general manager, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.  "While Elephant Walk withstood the test of time for an amazing 18 years, we needed to address the growing needs of our family guests seeking an affordable, quality dining experience that serves up the great foods and flavors of the area."

Finz' entertainment offerings will make for cool days and hot nights. During the day, beach-goers will enjoy the sounds of a live band performing on the restaurant's outside deck.  During dinner hours, patrons will be treated to a variety of entertainers; while after dinner, the real fun begins as the entertainment continues until the bar closes down.
