reader-travel-tip2Bring Audio Cables
Each Friday, we’re featuring a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from Tom L. of Rowayton, CT, who says:

“Many rental cars today allow you to listen to your iPhone/iPod/MP3 player through the car stereo. Some cars have a line-in jack that will connect through the headphone jack on your portable player using a 3.5mm “male-to-male” cable. Others (generally newer models) allow you to connect using a USB cable. So if you want to listen to your player on a rental car instead of spending time fiddling with the dials, don’t forget to bring the necessary cables!”

Another good rental car tip! Thanks Tom!
