reader-travel-tip2How to Take Awesome Photos of Fireworks + Arthur Tavel Advice
Each Friday, we’re featuring a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s (July 4-themed) tip comes from my buddy and #TravelSkills chat co-host Chris McGinnis, who passed over this great post from Wired.com on how to take awesome photos of fireworks. I mentioned it in our weekly chat yesterday (which is usually every Friday at 12 noon ET), but in case you missed it, make to check it out here.

Have a happy Fourth of July, and if you’re on the East Coast, be sure to keep an eye on the progress of Hurricane Arthur. News as of this email has the storm moving away from the coast of North Carolina, with a course (and heavy rains) now set for the Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard area in Massachusetts. Here’s the latest from the New York Times, and for more info, check out my resource page on what to do in the case of bad travel weather.
