Take a Photo of Your Baggage Receipt
Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader James W., who says:
“When leaving your luggage with the hotel bellhop always take a picture with your cell phone of the receipt they hand you. This way, if you lose your paper receipt you have a copy.”
Sounds a little like this past tip. Thanks, James!

I try to take photo’s of all of my receipts (incase I have to submit for reimbursement/check against cc bills etc ) and also of car parking or valet tickets. By doing so… it has assisted me :)
I always take a picture of my Luggage so if it is lost by airlines, hotels. etc. I have a way to “describe” it better!
