This isn’t major travel news, unless you happen to be planning to fly into Mallorca, Spain, in the Balearic Islands in August (as I do), but baggage handlers at Mallorca’s Airport (PMI) plan to strike on nine days in August, its busiest tourism month. Hopefully, talks will prevent it from happening but my question is… How should I (and others) react to and plan for a potential strike? Will it help to not have a checked bag, or will the delays result from taking longer to load outgoing bags, thus delaying incoming flights? Thanks in advance for any tips! Here is the link:
