How often do you fly:  On average, four times a month

How many countries have you been to:  47 (and counting!)

How many continents have you been to:  6 (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa)!

Favorite American city:  New York

Favorite international city:  Paris

Favorite World Heritage Site: Iguazu Falls in Iguazu National Park, Argentina

Favorite airline:  Jet Airways

Favorite aircraft type:  747

Aisle or window:  Window

Favorite airport lounge:  Doha, Qatar

Favorite U.S. airport:  Chicago O’Hare

Favorite international airport:  Hong Kong, Copenhagen

Favorite hotel:  Le Meurice in Paris. I’ve never been rendered speechless quite like I was the moment I stepped into my suite at this stunning hotel.

Favorite cruise line:  Seabourn. They have a much smaller capacity than most cruise ships, making for a more intimate experience once you’re on board. And, when I experienced my worst travel moment ever (see below), the Seabourn staff’s service, help and care were incomparable.

Favorite island:  The Maldives. I’ve just returned home from the Maldives and the vibrant turquoise lagoons, appearing out of nowhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean, are truly a sight to behold.

Favorite fancy restaurant:  La Villa Mahana, Bora Bora. This impossibly romantic restaurant only has six tables – making it an intimate and exclusive dining experience.

Favorite hole in the wall:  Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles in Hollywood, California

Favorite fruit:  Cherries

Favorite food:  Salmon sushi

Least favorite food:  Middle Eastern; I’m not sure why but despite the fact that I actually like Middle Eastern food, I always seem to get sick when I eat it.

Drink of choice (In the air and on the ground): Diet Coke

Favorite travel movie(s): Roman Holiday

Favorite travel show(s): Hot Spots 2012 on the Travel Channel

Favorite travel book(s): Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts

Right now I am reading: 11/22/63 by Stephen King

Five things you bring on a plane:  Kobo: I can’t survive without a book and my Kobo eReader allows me to load as many books as I like on it so I’m never without something to read. iPad: I download all my magazine subscriptions before I travel – I love reading magazines on an iPad. Macbook: It’s essential for working and blogging on the go. Snacks: It’s always best to be prepared and to have some snacks on hand just in case. Pashmina: I’m always freezing on airplanes!

What do you always seem to forget:  I can’t think of anything … I’m usually pretty prepared!

Favorite travel iPhone app(s):  Airline apps to check flight status, check in, change seats, etc.

Most embarrassing/worst travel moment: Losing my passport in Estonia. What an adventure!

What’s your dream destination:  Italy, Bali, South Africa

Favorite travel website(s) – besides JohnnyJet.com, of course!:  There are other travel websites besides JohnnyJet.com?

Best travel tip: Besides traveling with Johnny Jet? Pack light. Carry-on only. The advantages of traveling with just carry-on luggage far outweigh the benefits of having that extra pair (or two, or three) of shoes.

Hahaha! You know I’m right. Otherwise you get a glass of ice with just a splash of Diet Coke!

Oh yeah, a girl who is stylish and down with Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles is indeed a worthy wingwomen!

Wow, got to give her credit for perseverance. Any food that made me sick, I couldn’t eat any more. I’ve had Lebanese food and I really liked it.

I am interested in knowing just what type of luggage, example style, perhaps make/model that you use for travel. I would also like to know as a woman what are your typical packing methods to be able to only travel with a carry on. I have a annual conference in December that I lays seem to over pack for, please help!
