It drives me batty that the airlines always try and sucker their customers into wasting paper and (colored) ink by downloading boarding passes with all of their partners’ logos plus weather and destination content. yes I am with you on this….got caught once that was enough! Instead of one page I had about 5 pages with all kinds of stuff that I didn’t need….now I just print the page with the bar code.

No point in printing boarding passes at home. When checking bags, the counter lady always prints out new ones.

Wonderful suggestion. But an even easier way is to simply command the printer to print only the first page (usually: page range – pages – 1). This way you only get the one page printed with only your boarding pass; printing without weather and destination content might still print unnecessary pages.

Yes I used to do this , but now I only use electronic tickets as they work well now.

I print it to a PDF file & put it in Dropbox making it readily available on my tablet or smartphone. I keep a copy in my Kindle also. That way I have one that is accessible.

I always do a print preview on most things anyway and then just select the pages I want/need to print. Sometimes there have been good coupons so I would print the coupons too, if I wanted them.

Good point! Or just show them the boarding pass on your phone! Also my tip of the day is to pre-reserve your seat on the plane, which can be done several months in advance on many airlines.
