AmericanAmerican Offering Bonus Miles in 2015
The big airline news today comes from American Airlines, which announced the terms of huge, great promotion that will run all of 2015. Here’s how it will work: Beginning January 1, American customers will earn bonus miles when they fly on a purchased First or Business Class ticket for travel through December 31, 2015, anywhere on their network or with select partners.

That means that on top of the standard miles, on top of the extra miles for booking First or Business seats, on top of the extra miles for having AAdvantage status (if applicable), you’ll get up to 12,000 bonus miles just by booking a roundtrip premium fare. And as long as you have an AAdvantage account, you don’t even have to register to get the bonus! As an example, if you have AAdvantage Platinum status like I do (50,000-99,999 miles flown in a calendar year), you can earn 12,000 miles on a roundtrip First class ticket between JFK and SFO.

Check out more on the promotion in my post here.

Once again…all the benefits are geared towards those with excess cash…. How about lowering those prices since a barrel of oil is now under $60.00??
    Not a chance…..
