I have been fortunate to have gone on numerous safaris throughout Africa and India (my photos and stories are linked below). But luckily, I’ve never encountered a lion opening a car door on an African safari! If you ever have the chance to safari (and I hope you do), particularly a self-driving safari, make sure to lock your doors! Here’s more on what happened to one family (they’re okay) from the New York Daily News, and here are my own safari stories:

    If I were on a safari, my first instinct would be to lock the car door. . . you know, because lions! I’m glad that you’re still alive and well. Since you’re so composed from that experience, maybe you can be my tour guide!
