Inside The Tube

Tube Strikes in London This Week
If you’ll be in London this week (where I recently was), today’s tip is an important one. Beginning on Wednesday night, employees of the Underground (Tube/subway) will go on strike for 24 hours, taking the Underground out of service for the duration. At the same time, employees of the First Great Western train line, which connects London to a number of other cities and areas, will go on strike as well and so force closure of the First Great Western line for a full 48 hours. Start planning for alternative transportation now—and check out more on the story from the Metro here.
