Don’t Let Your Pet Out of the Carrier when You Fly
I love animals, but I do have beefs with a few types of owners: first, those who try to pass their pet off as a service animal—I’ve written about them here—and second, those who let their timid animals out of their kennels in public spaces so they can escape and cause all kinds of commotion. Did you see the cat that got loose recently on a Delta flight?

Obviously, it should never have happened. Airline regulations insist that “your pet must remain inside the kennel (with door secured) while in a Delta boarding area (during boarding and deplaning), a Delta airport lounge and while onboard the aircraft.” It’s not that difficult.
