Tips for staying safe from a burglarReader’s Digest recently ran an informative post on “21 things a burglar won’t tell you”—or, in other words, 21 tips to help keep you and your belongings safe from potential burglars. Some of it is common sense, but most of the tips will definitely make you think twice before leaving your house for vacation or even just to go to the store. They include tips like: “Yes, I really do look for newspapers piled up on the driveway. And I might leave a pizza flyer in your front door to see how long it takes you to remove it.” Also: “You’re right: I won’t have enough time to break into that safe where you keep your valuables. But if it’s not bolted down, I’ll take it with me.” Read on to get the other 19 tips.
